Q:  What thickness of coldroom panel would I require?

A:  Generally coldrooms are made from 75mm thick coldroom panel.  For room temperatures around +20°C and +30°C ambient temperature.  If the coldroom is located outside or in a higher amebient temperature region 100mm coldroom panel would suffice.  If you require a freezer (for a room temp 0°C to -18°C with ambient temperature around 30°C) then 150mm panel would be required, or thicker for extreme conditions.

Q:  What is the standard dimensions of coldroom panel?

A:  There is a standard width of 1200mm but the length of coldroom panel can be ordered to suit your specific coldroom.

Q:  Can coldrooms/freezers operate outside?

A:  They can run outside although they would last considerably longer if kept undercover.  If the coldroom is in direct sunlight a thicker panel would be required and a weather roof installed in place of a conventional coldroom roof.
